"The man who is aware of himself is henceforward independent; and he is never bored, and life is only too short, and he is steeped through and through with a profound yet temperate happiness."

"The most important kind of freedom is to be what you really are. You trade in your reality for a role. You trade in your sense for an act. You give up your ability to feel, and in exchange, put on a mask. There can’t be any large-scale revolution until there’s a personal revolution, on an individual level. It’s got to happen inside first."

When Large Animals Disappear, Ecosystems are Hit Hard
The loss of large animals is wreaking havoc on Earth’s ecosystems, according to a scientific review published in Science on Friday, causing food chains to fall into disarray, clearing the way for invasive species, and even triggering the transmission of infectious diseases. The decline and disappearance of these large animals, due in large part to human factors such as hunting and habitat loss, has such strong and wide-ranging effects that the review’s authors say it may well be “humankind’s most pervasive influence on nature.”

At seven feet, George the Great Dane — the world’s biggest dog — is longer than most people are tall.
(Photo: Martha Lochert Photography via the Daily Mail)
this dog is like 3X bigger than me
that dog is a cow.
I wonder what he’d look like next to Jared Padalecki though.
I sort of want to put a leash on it and then sit on its back like it’s a horse.
Just sayin’
…..I sort of want to do that to Jared PadaleckiWhat we need to do is take the four pound chihuahua my family has and place him next to this dog, for it would amuse me.
